Summer Picnic

Sunday, June 13, 2021 the day dawned bright and sunny with the promise of temperatures near 80 degrees. Following Divine Liturgy, Fr. Andrew Bartek, Rector, hosted a picnic for the Marblehead,OH Villagers. Approximately, 52 people came! Fr. Andrew and 8 parishioners welcomed them. From deviled eggs to chocolate cake, traditional picnic foods satisfied hungry appetites and fueled laughter, conversation and delightful fellowship. This is just one small way Holy Assumption Orthodox Church reaches out to the community to share the Love of God and Holy Orthodoxy.  More photos can be found in the gallery.
